To achieve the best results, we recommend having your panels professionally pressed by a dry-cleaning shop to remove any creases that may occur in packaging and shipping. You may iron your drapes from the front and back by setting your iron on the appropriate fabric setting. (Please refer to your iron manual).

Installing Pole Pocket Panels:

Pole pocket panels can be hung using a 1" to 2" thick rod by sliding the rod through the pocket at the top of the panel. You can also hang the panel using rings by inserting a drapery pin into the fabric on the back of the panel (being careful not to insert the pin all the way through to the face) and then inserting the pin into the ring. Some of our products will have a hookbelt (1" ribbon like band) attached on the back side of the pocket. Use this as a guide to insert the drapery pin through and then into the ring, being careful not to insert the pin all the way through to the face. (Note: Drapery rings sold separately).

Installing Pole Pocket with Back Tab Panels:

Pole Pocket with Back Tab panels can be hung using a 1" to 2" thick rod by sliding the rod through the tabs on the back of the panel for a pleated look or slide the rod through the pocket. You can also hang the panel using rings by inserting a drapery pin into the fabric on the back of the panel and then inserting the pin into the ring. (Note: Drapery rings sold separately).

Installing Pleated Panels:

You will receive drapery hooks with your pleated panels. These hooks should be inserted behind each pleat and on the ends of each panel. Pleated panels will require drapery rings, which are then connected to the drapery hooks and hung on the rod. (Note: Drapery rings sold separately). Push the spaces between pleats forward when installing on a regular traverse rods and to the back for a decorative rod. This will help the draperies "stack" easily when drawn open.

Training Draperies:

After being hung, draperies need to be “trained” so their pleats and folds hang evenly. Train the folds in your draperies by stacking them open and arranging the folds evenly from top to bottom. Pull pleat folds forward and push back the folds in between. Loosely tie strips of fabric around the tied draperies for at least three days. When the ties are removed, the folds will be set.
